A customer recently told me that he had found a way to multiply his time. “It’s like having a time machine,” he said enthusiastically. “It clicks in when I succeed at doing only one thing.”
He discovered it more or less by chance, as he was walking. For a set period of time (ten minutes, one hour, two), you concentrate exclusively on one thing. Simply push aside everything else that comes from the outside or the inside. “And here’s the crazy thing. It doesn’t just feel like a longer period of time – it is longer!”
Now you might find yourself thinking there’s nothing new about any of this. It’s just a lot of old news from neuropsychology. I thought so, too. That is, until I tried it again, because so much time had gone by. Really, it’s just like a time machine. Unbelievable! Give it another try …
